Schuh Farms Pumpkin Patch Mount Vernon WA Skagit. Pumpkin Barn

SCHUH FARMS

360-424-6982

15565 WA-536
Mount Vernon, WA 98273

Read our full article on Schuh Farms.

Days/Hours: In October Schuh Farms is open daily from 9am-6pm. Harvest activities are open and Saturday/Sunday from 10am-5pm.

Cost: Rides & Playground are $2+tax/ticket and the Corn Maze is 3 years & under free, 4-12 years $4+tax and 13 years & older $6+tax

Schuh Farms has a myriad of family activities. Near the larger parking lot and new barn across Memorial Highway from the main farm (south side of hwy.), they have a corn maze, Recycled Junction playground and giant u-pick pumpkin patch. The maze has 11 tractor-themed trivia questions that you can answer and enter into a pie drawing. There is very limited parking at the main farm/barn, but they have a free shuttle to take you across Memorial Hwy. from the larger lot on the south side. Do not walk across the highway. They also will have their pumpkin bounce house, barrel and tractor train rides and hayrides. There are pumpkin patches on both sides of the highway. The "easy picking" pumpkin patch is on the north/main farm side. This side also has a small playground, goats and chickens that you can feed.

What you need to know:

  • There is ample free parking in a gravel parking lot next to the produce market and across the street. When it gets really busy they have a shuttle that will take you from the large parking lot across the highway over to the farm.
  • The corn maze takes about 30 minutes although there is a map to help you "escape" more quickly than that.
  • There is a coffee stand with food for purchase. Seating is available in the grassy area next to the coffee stand. The farm store also has yummy baked goods for sale and the bakery window will be open. If any of Grandma Schuh's cinnamon rolls are available snap them up before they're gone! There will also be baked goods on the south side of Memorial Hwy. as well. During the weekends, the drive thru stand will be walk-up only for safety reasons.
  • The farm store and coffee stand accept both cash and credit cards.
  • There are porta potties available for restrooms.
  • Pets are NOT allowed.
  • The parking lot and main area are gravel and the fields are grass. A stroller does work, but be cautious of the rain as it makes it muddy and hard to push a stroller around the grounds.
