Skagit County is ready to CELEBRATE and the 4th of July in Skagit County is the perfect way to celebrate our freedom in Washington State. If you are looking for things to do on the 4th of July in Skagit County, you'll definitely be able to find a fireworks show near you in the list of events below.
In 2022 we have celebrations happening in Sedro-Woolley (including the LOGGERODEO!), Big Lake, Mount Vernon, La Conner, Anacortes and at the Skagit Speedway. You also won't want to miss the parade in Concrete!
Sedro-Woolley 4th of July Events & Loggerodeo

Big Lake Fireworks
July 3, 2022
Pull up a chair anywhere around Big Lake and watch the 2022 Big Lake Fireworks Show get started around dark. This is the Big Lake Fire Fighters Association's ANNUAL DISPLAY and it is a fundraiser, so please consider donating. Every year an estimated 40,000 people view the display. Over the years the proceeds from the fireworks show have gone to upgrade fire fighting equipment, provide training and overall support for the Big Lake Fire Department.
Fireworks begin at dusk (10pm-ish).

Mount Vernon Fireworks
July 4, 2022
Mount Vernon's Fabulous 4th of July is all about the Fireworks....a good time for the entire family! This year they will not be providing food and there won't be any bands playing. Please leave BBQs, canopies, fireworks and alcohol at home.
The spectacular firework show begins at dark. Come with your friends and family and enjoy the evening together. There's lots of room to spread out and socially distance.
WHERE: Edgewater Park is located at 600 Behrens-Millett Road just over the West Side Bridge in Mount Vernon across the Skagit River from Downtown Mount Vernon.
WHEN: July 4th - fireworks begin at dark. Don't forget your lawn chair or blanket, and a flashlight to help when leaving the show.

Anacortes Fireworks
July 4, 2022
The City of Anacortes will be celebrating July 4th with a firework display and a Patriotic Parade!
At 10am there will be a town photo and Mayor Gere will lead a patriotic program honoring our nation’s 246th year of independence. The Patriotic Parade will begin at 11am at 3rd Street and Commercial Avenue.
The firework display will take place on July 4th starting at dusk over Fidalgo Bay.

La Conner Fireworks
July 4, 2022
Meet in La Conner for a Tiny Town Celebration! Community A patriot parade down the main street of La Conner starts the day’s festivities at noon. Highlights of the day will be a FREE outdoor concert with Pacific Northwest's favorite, The Chris Eger Band, featuring the Alimony Horns and from Seattle BroHam. Fireworks begin at dark over the Swinomish Channel.
