Did you know spiders make 6 different kinds of silk? Or that they have light blue blood? Join Friends of the ACFL to learn all about how awesome spiders are and learn about spiders in the ACFL. We'll read about spider webs at snack time, then make our own webs and go on a hunt to see what we can find in spider webs around the forest. We will walk 1/2 - 1 mile on our spider hunt and can accommodate the walking abilities of young ones.
All ages welcome, but remember: we will only move as fast as our smallest legs will take us.
Registration is requested (find link on their website) but not required. It's just so they can notify you if the hike is canceled.
This hike is for humans only. Please leave your pets at home.
