Could you ever imagine our beautiful Skagit County without the Skagit River? It's almost impossible to do. The Skagit touches just about everyone who lives here. The quality of life we enjoy comes from the Skagit River—electricity for our homes and businesses, quality water to drink and irrigate our crops, livelihoods for our fishermen, and a place for our families to play, picnic, camp and hike. Located on the banks of the Skagit River, Edgewater Park offers a terrific family and pet-friendly setting to spend the day celebrating the mighty Skagit and return of the salmon!

We'll have a terrific lineup of activities and entertainment you won’t want to miss, with something for every interest—young or old.

Great bands and musicians to entertain. Local breweries on tap to keep you refreshed. Tasty food choices to select from and enjoyArtisan wares to browse and purchase. Native storytellers and cultural activities that inform. Arts, crafts, and games for the whole family. Great bands and musicians to entertain. Local breweries on tap to keep you refreshed. As we find ourselves in Phase 2 in Skagit County I will begin adding activities from businesses who are opening up. Please support them if you feel safe doing so. We recognize that this is going to be a confusing period of time with varying opinions on what people should and shouldn’t be doing. For over 7 years, Skagit Kid Insider has been a reliable source of information for our community. We will continue to provide updates on the events and activities that are open under government guidelines. This does not constitute an endorsement or a suggestion that we jump back into a “normal” way of life. Masks are encouraged if you are out in public spaces, click here to buy masks locally. During this time we encourage everyone to be informed and do what they feel is best for their own family.
