Skagit Valley's favorite Santa is back! Santa Jim will be at a new location this year, Sound Cedar Lumber in Mount Vernon. Schedule your photo while spaces are still available! Their goal is to create enchanting and memorable holiday experiences that bring joy and wonder to children and families.

Santa Claus is coming to town! Mark your calendars! We’ll have yummy snacks and stocking stuffers for humans and pets alike. You’ll leave with a print of one photo and we’ll email you additional shots. The suggested donation is only $10!

Hot chocolate, local performances, and special guest appearances… Santa available after for pictures in the new snow globe backdrop! Coastal Tree Lighting at approximately 7 PM and FREE

After a full day of Holiday Cheer and Tree Lighting in Downtown Sedro-Woolley, stop by Bigfoot's Den to visit and take pictures with Santa. Bring your own camera. FREE

Winter Wonderland  |  Burlington  |  Friday-Sunday, December 6-8

Santa will be at the Children's Museum of Skagit County's Winter Wonderland from ALL THREE DAYS for pictures! Meeting Santa is free, you may take pictures with your own camera. FREE

Just Between Friends Santa Visit  |  Skagit County Fairgrounds  |  Saturday, December 7  |  12-2 PM

Santa will be coming the the Holiday Just Between Friends sale on Saturday between 12-2PM. Kids can visit with Santa, pictures are encouraged, don't forget your camera!

NEW YEAR'S EVE 

New Year's at Noon, Children's Museum, Burlington - 11:45am - Don’t miss the Children's Museum's annual New Year’s at Noon celebration complete with noisemakers! Join them outside the museum and count down to NOON with them… It’ll be a lot of fun! Make sure you're there by at least 11:45am to participate.

Noon Year's Party, La Conner Swinomish Library - 11am-Noon - Celebrate the end of 2022 with a Happy Noon Year’s Eve party at the library! Open to all ages! Culminating with a countdown to noon, we'll have games and crafts leading up to a countdown to noon.

Noon Year's Eve, Anacortes Public Library - 11:30am-12:30pm - Celebrate the new year ahead of time! We’ll have balloons, snacks, and a craft to celebrate the new year with our littlest visitors. 

Skagit Skate New Year's Parties, Burlington - 1pm-4pm/5pm-8pm/9pm-1am - Celebrate New Year’s on Skates! Enjoy the biggest and best celebration with a confetti celebration, party hats, horns, lights and a special countdown on their “Big Screen”!!!

Washington State Parks FREE Day - Free days at Washington State Parks = No Discover Pass required!

First Day Hike, Rockport State Park - 11am-3pm - "First Day Hikes" offer an experience for everyone to get outside and enjoy our beautiful state parks. We're lucky to have a beautiful state park in Rockport, with various trails for all fitness levels, adjacent to Highway 20, just minutes from Concrete. Join us on January 1, 2023 for guided hikes, interpretive talks, healthy snacks and conversations.

Skagit Skate 2024, Burlington - 1pm-5pm - Come skate the first afternoon session of 2024!!! Special family offer for four skaters only $20.24 on January 1st!!!*

Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center, Rockport - 10am-4pm - There are guided nature walks along the Skagit River taking place on Saturdays and Sundays along the Skagit River. Walk departs from the SRBEIC headquarters located in Howard Miller County Park in Rockport at 11:00am and 1:30pm. The Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center is open from 10am-4pm during their scheduled open days this season.
