3rd: La Conner Library Family Night - 6pm - Decorate a pumpkin, do a craft and listen to stories. FREE

7th: Michael's Make Break: Customize Pumpkin Slime, Burlington - 1pm-3pm - Bring the family to customize pumpkin slime! All supplies including pre-made slime will be provided.

7th & 8th: Skagit Valley Festival of Family Farms - 10am-4pm - Have a hands-on experience learning what it takes to run a farm from growing crops to feeding animals. It is an opportunity to talk to your farmers and follow your food from the fields to the table. Participating farms offer fun-filled festival activities for everyone! FREE

 

 
7th: Concrete Ghost Walk - 6pm-8pm - NOT meant for young children! Ages 16+ only. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Learn about the history of Concrete and surrounding areas. Peek into the past, hear stories of ghosts and legends told by local residents. Dress for the weather if attending the walk. Tour begins at Concrete Theatre. $10 admission. Advanced reservations required and they will sell out of tickets.

WEEK OF OCTOBER 9TH-15TH

13th: Movie Night with Jasmine @ the Children's Museum, Burlington - 5:30pm-7:30pm - Jasmine from Enchanting Events will be there from 5:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. for pictures and kids can make wishes by rubbing her magic lamp! After Jasmine returns to Agrabah, we will watch the movie "Aladdin". Pizza and snacks will be available for $2 and admission fees to the Children's apply for non-members. The movie is free for Children's Museum members and museum admission applies to non-members.

13th: 29th Annual Halloween Carnival - 6:30pm-8pm - Stop by the Skagit Valley Family YMCA for an evening of Spooktacular fun! Play carnival games, win prizes, join the annual Cupcake Walk and get a festive Halloween picture at our Photo Booth. Join us in celebrating 29 years of Halloween fun at the Y this year with a pirate ship ride through the floating pumpkin patch & fish for treasure in the pool! If you would like to dress in a costume we would love to see it, but remember – only preschool friendly costumes will be allowed.

13th & 14th: Meet the Spirits that live in the Sedro-Woolley Museum - 2 shows @ 5pm & 7:30pm each night - Visit with the spirits that call the Sedro-Woolley Museum home with Chad Lindberg, actor and paranormal investigator.  He has for many years facilitated communication with the spirits and will be looking to find those that call the museum home. Reservations are required as space is limited to 25 people per show.

13th, 14th & 15th: 3D Harvest ArtWalk in the Cascade Mall, Burlington - Friday-Sunday 11am-6pm - The ONLY kid-friendly 3D attraction in the Pacific Northwest! 2000 square feet of winding trails filled with a-MAZE-ing 3D images!! $4 admission/2 years & under FREE.  This is a FUNDRAISER for the Children's Museum, and $1 from each admission plus any additional donation you wish to make will go directly to them.

14th: Michael's Kids Club: Vampirina Web of Friendship, Burlington - 10am-Noon

14th: Michael's Make Break: Punny Halloween T-shirts, Burlington - 1pm-3pm - Bring the family to make punny Halloween t-shirts! Use letters and colorful paint to decorate t-shirts with Halloween puns. Buy a t-shirt, and the supplies to decorate it will be provided. Contact store for availability.

14th: Halloween Pet Costume Contest, PetCo, Mt. Vernon - 1pm-2pm - Bring your pet in to strut their stuff in the pet costume contest. Prizes will be awarded. Dress up with your pet for bonus points!! FREE

17th: Teen Apocalypse Training Camp, Burlington Public Library - 4pm-5pm - Learn about brains and how to make tools to help you survive in the woods. FREE

20th: Mount Vernon Boys & Girls Club Teen Night - 6pm-10pm - Open to all teens even if you aren't a member. Join us for Pumpking Patch & Carving Night. FREE

21st: Fall Extravaganza, United Methodist Church, Anacortes - 1pm-4pm - Costume contest, BYOP (bring your own pumpkin) to carve and some canned goods to donate to the foodbank. There will be games, mini golf and ice cream. FREE

21st: Halloween Party, Samish Grange - 5pm-10pm -The community is invited to a night full of games, dancing and ghoulish treats! Costumes welcome at this family-friendly event.  Admission is a suggested $10/person donation. Sponsored by the friends of the Skagit Relay for Life organization.

24th: Harvest Festival @ San Juan Rehab, Anacortes - 5pm-7pm - A fun night of spooky activities including trick-or-treating. Haunted house begins at 5:30pm. FREE

25th: Fall Harvest Fest @ The Salvation Army, Anacortes - 5pm-7:30pm - Food, games, activites, prizes and candy! Kids are welcome to wear costumes (no scary costumes please). FREE

27th: Upper Skagit Kids Halloween Bash, Citipoint North Cascade Church, Marblemount - 5pm-9pm - Halloween party for kids and families in the Upper Skagit area. There will be games, trick-or-treat tables, crafts and snacks. Don't forget to wear your costumes! FREE

27th: Mount Vernon Boys & Girls Club Teen Night - 6pm-10pm - Open to all teens even if you aren't a member. Join us for our Harvest Festival. FREE

27th: Skagit Skate Lights Out Party, Burlington - 7:30-10:30pm - Lights Out Party with coffin rides, pumpkin bowling, candy drop, eyeball soup, costume & pie eating contest, and confetti celebration.  Free glow sticks for the first 100 skaters. All ages.

28th: Halloween Dance Party, Skagit Valley Academy of Dance,  Mount Vernon - 3pm-7pm - Join the fun and bring your friends for a fun night of dancing, crafts, games & snacks! Ages 5+

28th: Harvest Fest & Halloween Dance, Marblemount - 6pm-10pm -  Wear a costume and come for the potluck dinner, live music, silent auction, raffles and prizes!

28th: National Observe the Moon Night @ Volunteer Park in Anacortes - 6:30pm-8pm - Observe the moon with astronomy experts from Island Astronomical Society. FREE

28th: Halloween Costume Party, Anacortes - begins @ 7:30pm - Kennelly Keys is hosting a costume party to help fund free music lessons for kids. There will be a costume contest, music, food, and beverages. All ages are welcome and kids under 12 are free. Tickets are $15 each.

28th: Halloween @ the Conway Muse - begins @ 7:30pm - Live bands, dancing, & costume competition. Admission fee.

29th: "Little Shop of Horrors" the Director's Cut, Anacortes Cinemas - 2pm - The 1986 American rock musical horror comedy film will feature an alternate ending as well as a special introduction from Director Frank Oz.

29th: Skagit Skate Junior Halloween Party, Burlington - 1pm-5pm -  Costume parade & contest, goodies, coffin rides, pumpkin bowling and a confetti celebration. All Ages

29th: Halloween Party & Trick-or-Treat @ Camp Kirby, Samish Island - 5:30pm-7:30pm - The evening includes trick-or-treating to various cabins, tons of snacks and goodies, and a rocking dance party! Tickets only available at the door and are $5.

30th: Slime & Halloween Sensory Fun, Children's Museum, Burlington - 3:30pm-4:30pm - Make Halloween slime! FREE to museum members. Museum admission applies to non-members.

Country Meadow Village, Sedro-Woolley - 10am - Gather around the fireplace for scary storytelling and Trick-or-Treating and goodies with the residents. You will make their month! All children welcome! FREE

COHO Halloween Costume Contest in Mt. Vernon & Sedro-Woolley - 10am-6pm - Show off your costume and possibly win a prize. Full size candy bars for trick-or-treaters. FREE

Downtown Anacortes Trick-or-Treat - 3pm-5pm - Trick-or-Treat between 2-4pm at businesses with signs in their windows. ACME Creative will be providing free photos for families. FREE

Oasis Daylight Center Halloween Party for Teens, Mount Vernon - 3pm-5:30pm - For youth 13-17 the annual Halloween Party returns with games, prizes and treats! FREE

Downtown Mount Vernon Safe Trick-or-Treat - 3:30pm-5:30pm - Skagit County residents are invited to participate on First Street, from Kincaid to Division in Downtown Mount Vernon. At 5:30 pm, kids are also invited to join in the annual Costume Contest at the Lincoln Theatre. Prizes will be awarded in appropriate age categories. FREE

Downtown La Conner School Halloween Parade & Trick-or-Treat Fun - 3pm-4pm - Join us for our annual Halloween Parade and Trick-or-Treat fun in downtown La Conner! We start at the north end of First Street, and parade along the length of First, after which the kids are invited to trick-or-treat participating businesses in town. This is a wonderful and fun event for the entire family - kids, dogs, grandparents ... come dressed in your Halloween finest and have some fun! FREE

Sedro-Woolley-Trick-or-Treat-2017

 

 

Downtown Sedro-Woolley Kiddie Parade and Merchant Trick-or-Treating - 4pm Parade - Halloween brings the draw of the Halloween parade and downtown trick-or-treating! Line up begins near the Wells Fargo Bank parking lot on Metcalf Street at 3:30pm and the parade starts at 4pm with trick-or-treating immediately following the parade. SWPD Officers will be at the end of the parade (Metcalf & Ferry) with a phantom photo booth and LOTS of treats! FREE

 

 

 

Trick-or-Treat @ Creekside, Burlington - 4pm-6pm - Creekside invites family to safely trick-or-treat and let the residents see you in costume. FREE

Bay View Community Halloween Party - 6:30pm-8:30pm - It is the tradition in our area not to have the kids trick or treat in the rain but instead to gather at the Bay View Community Hall on “C” Street for games and refreshments where it is warm and dry and everyone can show off their costumes rather than raincoats - and enjoy connecting and re-connecting with neighbors and friends. You are encouraged to bring the wrapped candy that you would have passed out to trick-or-treaters if you stayed home. FREE and we encourage you to bring a non- perishable food item to be donated to the food bank at the Burlington Senior Center.

25th: Festival of Trees Breakfast at the North Pole, Burlington - 9:30am-11:30am - A family-friendly breakfast, visit with Santa, photo booth, kids' activities, designer wreaths and tree raffle are the highlighted activities. Advanced ticket purchase required and tickets will sell out quickly.

25th & 26th: Festival of Trees Family Festival Days, Burlington - 12:30pm-4:30pm on Saturday & 10am-2pm on Sunday - Kick off the holiday season by viewing exquisitely designed Christmas trees while enjoying musical entertainment by local talent and activities for the kids! Guests can also purchase designer wreaths and raffle tickets for a chance to win a beautifully designed tree!
